The Coat of Arms of Alhama de Murcia<\/strong> is an essential part of the municipality\u2019s identity. Since 1970 it had an official version, but over the decades multiple variations were generated. This caused institutional communication issues, especially in digital environments.<\/p>\n

In 2018, we at Otro Concepto<\/strong> worked together with the City Council to update its graphic representation and create a Corporate Identity Manual<\/strong> to ensure unified use, respectful of heraldry and adapted to modern media.<\/p>\n

The goal was not to replace the official coat of arms, but to modernize its design<\/strong> and provide clear guidelines to facilitate its application in print, digital environments, and institutional events.<\/p>\n

The project consisted of designing an updated version of the coat of arms, respecting all heraldic elements approved in 1970, but adapting them into a clearer, more contemporary visual language<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

We worked on simplifying shapes, achieving better balance in proportions, and optimizing color treatment to enhance legibility across all media.<\/p>\n

The result was a solid institutional logo<\/strong>, faithful to tradition yet prepared to meet current graphic needs.<\/p>\n

Branding – Visual identity<\/h1>\n

Based on the coat of arms, we developed a Corporate Identity Manual<\/strong> that established the brand\u2019s usage and application rules: color, black and white, positive and negative versions; color palette in Pantone, CMYK, RGB and HEX; typefaces; minimum sizes and horizontal and vertical variants.<\/p>\n

Applications were also defined for flags, photographic backgrounds, and municipal departments, ensuring consistency across all contexts.<\/p>\n

This work made it possible to unify criteria, avoid improvisations, and guarantee that the most representative symbol of the city remains strong and consistent over time.<\/p>\n

El Escudo de Alhama de Murcia<\/strong> es parte esencial de la identidad del municipio. Desde 1970 contaba con una versi\u00f3n oficial, pero a lo largo de las d\u00e9cadas se hab\u00edan generado m\u00faltiples variaciones. Esto provocaba una comunicaci\u00f3n institucional con dificultades de aplicaci\u00f3n en entornos digitales.<\/p>

En 2018, desde Otro Concepto<\/strong> trabajamos junto al Ayuntamiento para actualizar su representaci\u00f3n gr\u00e1fica y crear un Manual de Identidad Corporativa<\/strong> que asegurase un uso unificado, respetuoso con la her\u00e1ldica y adaptado a los soportes actuales.<\/p>

El objetivo no fue sustituir el escudo oficial, sino modernizar su dise\u00f1o<\/strong> y dotarlo de directrices claras que facilitasen su aplicaci\u00f3n en impresos, entornos digitales y actos institucionales.<\/p>

Branding - Logotipo<\/h1>

\u00a0<\/p>

El proyecto consisti\u00f3 en dise\u00f1ar una versi\u00f3n actualizada del escudo, respetando todos los elementos her\u00e1ldicos aprobados en 1970, pero llev\u00e1ndolos a un lenguaje visual m\u00e1s claro y contempor\u00e1neo<\/strong>.<\/p>

Trabajamos en la simplificaci\u00f3n de formas, un mayor equilibrio en las proporciones y un tratamiento crom\u00e1tico optimizado para reforzar la legibilidad en cualquier soporte.<\/p>

El resultado fue un logotipo institucional s\u00f3lido<\/strong>, fiel a la tradici\u00f3n pero preparado para convivir con las necesidades gr\u00e1ficas actuales.<\/p>

A partir del escudo, desarrollamos un Manual de Identidad Corporativa<\/strong> que recoge las normas de uso y aplicaci\u00f3n de la marca: versiones en color, blanco y negro, positivo y negativo; paleta crom\u00e1tica en Pantone, CMYK, RGB y HEX; tipograf\u00edas; tama\u00f1os m\u00ednimos y variantes horizontales y verticales.<\/p>

Tambi\u00e9n se definieron las aplicaciones en banderas, fondos fotogr\u00e1ficos y concejal\u00edas, asegurando coherencia en todos los contextos.<\/p>

Este trabajo permiti\u00f3 unificar criterios, evitar improvisaciones y garantizar que el s\u00edmbolo m\u00e1s representativo de la ciudad se mantenga fuerte y consistente en el tiempo.<\/p>
